About Glenn Justis

Summerville Criminal Defense Attorney Glenn Justis

Meet Glenn

Born and raised in New Jersey, I attended The Citadel and graduated in 1990 with a Business Administration Degree. I married my wife Laine in 1991 and in 2001 we had a son named Joe. We live in Summerville with our family dog, a German Shepard named Gunner. After working 14 years in the business world, I went back to law school so that I could make a difference and help other people. While in law school, I worked as an intern at the 1st Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Upon graduation, I went to work full-time as an Assistant Solicitor in Orangeburg County from 2007-2010 before transferring to Dorchester County where I worked from 2011-2018. Between two offices, I handled criminal cases ranging from shoplifting to murder. Over the course of 11 years, I personally handled nearly 5,000 criminal cases and dozens of criminal jury trials.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and love being in the outdoors. I am an Eagle Scout and have been a volunteer Boy Scout leader in Summerville since 2007.

I enjoy hiking and camping so much that, prior to opening up my own law firm, I decided to accomplish my dream to hike the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. I completed my goal by hiking 2,190.9 miles in 145 days. As someone who likes a challenge and does not back down when things get tough, I decided to use my experience to help those who find themselves in a difficult situation. My commitment, determination, and persistence to accomplish a goal that only a few accomplish is the same commitment, determination, and persistence I will bring to your case.
